  No sooner than we get done with one clown it seem someone else wants to take their place.

  For me it's the cliques and the mob mentality. It reminds me of what Ray Franz said in COC about how if the hands of Fred Franz and/or Knorr went up, it was practically a guarantee that the hands of a handful of others went up.

  Of course this is how Evans has worked for years and still does, albeit in a more limited capacity due to the lack of other activists supporting him.

  So if activist A takes a position on something, typically political or non-exJW related, Activist B, C & D will be on the tweet and ready to regulate. Any dissension is then quote tweeted, accusations of some sort of bigotry are alleged and before you know it, you are in everyone's mentions. All for taking a counter position to Activist A.

  I don't have anything against this new batch of activists. All I would advise is to don't take a page out of Evans's playbook and analyse everything Stephen Lett has to say. But please be mindful of how these cliques are perceived and there will be times you'll need to be the adult and call them off.

  judging by some forum comments and tweets, it seems like some female exjw's feel they are being ignored or excluded from things.

  i thought i'd share my views.

  what could possibly go wrong .... first, i think it's unfair to post and judge people based on a private chat shared without permission and posted without context.

  The whole LE saga is so unprecedented and way out there that there are bound to be a plethora of different beliefs and ways to approach it, even amongst those who are united in finding it repulsive. What makes this case unique is that whilst the subject is claiming he’s suicidal, at the same time he is taunting people and sending a team of lawyers after them. I don’t personally care about being on a panel because this subject has been adequately covered and if you don’t think it has been, then go do your own and you’ll find plenty of sympathetic voices to tweet it out.

  What I take issue with is the policing of how to respond to LE. This man is a maniac narcissistic asswipe who keeps coming at people with knives sharpened, but we’re to be worried about his mental state? If one doesn’t like the approach some are taking, then it’s OK to just scroll by and not take part in it. I find it hard to take counsel on this from the same people who have made multiple videos and livestreams about him that are taking issue with a tweet or post that is quickly forgotten and buried by time.

  But I digress because much of this is a moot point. I say this because by the end of this month or in early July this fool will throw something outrageous out there and this process resets itself.

  Who is Richard E. Kelly?

  Remember at the end of the Wizard of Oz where a man was found behind the curtain controlling everything?

  That’s probably an apt description of him. A self-made millionaire per his own story who retired at an early age and wrote a series of ex JW memoirs that nobody read. When AAWA kicked off, Kelly was the one who funded it and served as Treasurer when Lloyd (oops - “John Cedars”) was President. He flew at his own expense Lloyd and his wife, Bo Juel, and other early AAWA acolytes to his Tucson abode.

  True story - at their post dinner soirée fueled by expensive wine, Lloyd proposed something that Bo Juel said sounded stupid. At length Lloyd stood up crying, and announced that him and his wife were leaving because of what Bo said. Bo tried to reason he didn’t call Lloyd himself stupid but that the idea was. Lloyd preferred the scene he wanted to make and was the first to leave. He later claimed Bo was hitting on his wife.

  Richard has been bankrolling Lloyd from the very beginning and was the mystery man Marc Latham was calling out in the last livestream a week ago. It is unknown as to what level he is still giving Lloyd money if at all, but he is known as a two-faced person who has made fun of Lloyd behind his back but would support him publicly.

  He retains an aura of mystery as he is absent from social media and plays a role largely in the background. He’s the Don Corleone of the ex JW world and if you want to found your own non-profit and get a lump sum of money to kick it off, he’s the guy you go to.

  It seems to me that Mark is mindful of how badly Lloyd fucked up and is saying the right things only when necessary. It also seems to me that he doesn’t want Lloyd completely buried and is biding his time in anticipation of his rehabilitation. It’s almost like he’s placed his cooler on his box seats at the convention so when Lloyd waddles back in he’ll get a seat up front.

  Did he block Kim and throw shade at the way she blew the whistle on Lloyd because it made things inconvenient for him? Did he block her to demonstrate loyalty to Lloyd? Is there a proverbial “smoke-filled room” in ex JW circles with Lloyd, Mark and Richard E. Kelly sitting at the head of the table pondering what to do next?

  Prove me wrong Mark. I hope I am way off the mark here. I’d hate to see your work be tarnished by continued association with Jabba the Hutt.

  Kim is too classy to want a day named after her even in jest.

  But you can bet 2 to 1 odds that Lloyd will mark Jan 31 with a video entitled to the likes of “The Defamation - 1 Year Later”. He’ll reveal that him and Dijana are now divorced but at the time of Jan 31 they were well on their way to reconciliation. He’ll remark that it’s been hard on his kids and that he cries SO MUCH at night that he can’t be with them as he did before.

  He’ll also take a shot at the Croatian court system for throwing his case out and promising to punish those bullies with civil suits.

  Grundy didn’t do anything wrong anymore so than he was dead wrong about Evans. And he knew better after Evans put JW facts in the back of that bootleg and he didn’t say jack about it. Then he plugs his second book even though Evans despicably solicited $150 from abuse survivors to appear in the book.

  For someone who has a standing offer to anyone who can prove he has wrong information on JW facts that he will remove or correct the information, well here’s something for him to chew on. What Evans was earning in 2017 was way more than his translation business run from the in-law’s attic could have ever earned. It’s even more so now.

  He might have been conned by Evans when he claimed this. But nevertheless it’s still non-factual information that has yet to be corrected. Now that it’s clear what Evans was using this money towards it’s even more imperative to set the record straight.

  Speaking of Andrew Gold, I do find it curious he did not sue him as he had promised. Not only did he interview Kim, he made a follow-up video essentially calling him a cult leader and then one with Dr Das where he was unofficially diagnosed as a psychopathic narcissist. Burger, Marc/Cora did a lot less and they were deemed as one of the more egregious cases to use his wording.

  I think the answer to that is that Gold is a Twitter blue check mark, has a lot of viewership outside of ex JWs and would have totally dunked on him in a few more rebuttal videos. 4 of the 7 (Burger/Marc/Cora/Joel) do not make exJW videos anymore and it’s easier to go after them than YouTubers with sizable audiences like Gold and altworldly. The bottom line if he’s only interested in making examples out of these people and is confident that their sway over popular opinion is minimal.

  I'm beginning to suspect that Lloyd can only speak one language - English.

  There was a tweet a few years ago where he admitted he did not have the talent to learn new languages. I think Dijana mostly covered for him when they were out and about. And they speak English at home. I'm sure he knows enough to go to the market and purchase items but he cannot carry on a conversation in Croatian.

  Here's an interaction he had with someone in the Expats in Zagreb group in April 2022 about joining a Croatian beginners class. So if he's joining a beginner's class, he's nowhere near fluent.

  The support, ability to speak without being sensored by Reddit mods who, in my opinion, are scared of Lloyd’s threats

  That's a good point because they had a falling out about a year ago which precipitated the split into the JWWatch subreddit. They weren't afraid to defy him then and even started a thread about it. So what changed?

  My guess is he knows the true names and identities of the mods there and privately threatened them with litigation if they didn't shut down the threads that were started about him. It's probably part of the compromise that they started with their own "megathreads" which had all these rules beforehand about what you could or couldn't post. He'd do it here too if he felt Simon was a chump and would take down or lock this thread if he threatened him enough.

  This is why beating him at his litigation game is so crucial. When he does fail to get any convictions in Croatia this needs to be absolutely plastered all over social media so people know he relies on fear to control the narrative and always has. When he was on this forum he often implied a ban was forthcoming if someone he didn't like kept replying to him.

  I didn't even know Lloyd was a translator.

  Lloyd wasn't and still isn't capable of a Croatian to English translation. His wife was the translator. He proofread it, made corrections to her English and took most of the credit as "Director" of JLE Translation Services even though "JLE" himself wasn't qualified to translate.
